![]() The nice thing about this is that it creates the new subtool non-destructively and leaves the individual subtools in the folder intact. ![]() If you click yes, then a new folder will be created with just those subtools and you can immediately use the Folder> Merge Folder option to create a new merged subtool out of the subtools in the folder. If you have multiple subtools selected in that mode and you go to make a new folder (Subtool> New Folder), ZBrush will recognize this and ask you if you want to create a new folder out of the selected subtools. Anything on the left side of center will be mirrored over to the right so if your good side is on the right, go to Tool > Deformations and click. One quick way to to work with multiple selected subtools in multi selection mode is to split them off into a new folder. zber2: If you have multiple subdivision levels on a subtool, use Freeze SubDivision Levels first then go to Tool > Geometry > Modify Topology and click Mirror and Weld on X. But these too will result in a new subtool that contains a new mesh that is the result of those separate subtools being fused together. In order to actually fuse the geometry together, you would need to use a feature capable of fusing meshes together like Dynamesh or Live Boolean. The functions in the Subtool> Merge sub palette basically re-group different subtools into the same subtool, but do not actually fuse any geometry in most circumstances, unless merging down with the Weld option active for meshes whose points align exactly. ![]() It depends on what you mean by “merge”, but any merging of subtools involves reorganizing them to some degree. How do I do this without having to reorganize my subtools?
